I’m Keith Waller, a fine artist, writer, and illustrator, born in Dartford, England. My artistic journey has been a blend of fine art, creative writing, and illustration, where I explore the boundaries of imagination and reality. For more than 50 years, I have thrived as a freelance creator, channelling my endless energy into fine art, compelling narratives, and illustrations that make a lasting impact.
I studied at the University of Brighton, where I earned a B.A. (HONS) and an M.A. in the History of Art and Design. My education gave me a strong foundation, but my real passion lies in pushing the limits of creative expression. Before fully immersing myself in freelance work in Fine Art, creative writing and illustration in 2008, I spent over 30 years (1976-2008) as a lithography print manager, first at Kensons Printing and Advertising, High Wycombe, UK and later as Global Print and Design Manager at Cibus Group. These roles gave me a deep technical understanding of the art world, which I now use to fuel my creative vision.
Over the years, my fine art work has been exhibited in renowned galleries like the Tate Gallery in Liverpool, Saatchi Art in Santa Monica, and Schirn Kunsthalle in Frankfurt. Critics have recognised my efforts, with the New York Times calling me "One thought away from Genius," and Art Now Magazine referring to me as "Possibly the best-known unknown artist working today." From my studio in St Leonards, I continue to create art that challenges conventional thinking and invites viewers into worlds shaped by imagination.
